The Nova-Pak C18 Guard Columns are silica-based, reversed-phase C18 columns designed for high-performance liquid chromatography. They utilize 4 μm particle technology to provide higher resolution and more efficient separations, while also extending the lifetime of analytical columns by protecting them from contaminants.

C18 monolayer formed by special bonding chemistry does not collapse in pure aqueous solution.
